Printing

Recollector documents can be printed from either the List tab or the Item Details tab of the collection window. (Printing is not supported in the Image Gallery tab.)

Printing Item Details for all records:

The menu choice File > Print Details for All Entries lets you generate a printout of the Item Details information for all records. (If subsetting is currently in effect, only the records in the active subset will be printed.) The output that will be generated is exactly the same as you would get if you went through the Item Details for each record, and, one at a time, printed out the Item Details for each individual record.

Printing your collection as a formatted report:

Your collection can also be printed as a formatted report. This is similar to printing the Item Details for all entries, but it adds a number of additional capabilities:

• More compact formatting.
• Control over which fields to include.
• Ability to print multiple records on a single page.
• Pagination across the entire report.
• Inclusion of a cover page.
• Printing of up to two indexes (optional) for ease of lookup.

Reports are generated using the File > Generate Printed Report (with Wizard) from Recollector's menu. For more information, consult help on Printed Reports.

Printing image windows:

Image windows include a Print button. Use this to print an image as a single-page printout.
